After everyone abandons a trash-filled Earth for outer space in the year 2700, WALL-E, a trash-compacting robot, meets a robot named EVE and falls in love. Neither robot speaks, so animation is key. "Their movements had to be very subtle," lead animator Angus MacLane told TFK. WALL-E opens June 27.
