Geysir and Strokkur are two of Iceland's most amazing springs. Both can send a shooting stream of water at least 100 feet into the air! Geysir is the original hot spring - all the others around the world are named after it. Unfortunately, Geysir hasn't been very active since the 1960s. Stokkur, on the other hand, still erupts about every 10 minutes.
