Ever have a secret, one that's hard to keep? Miley Stewart has a big one! She's Hannah Montana, a famous pop star who keeps her musical career a secret so she can lead a normal life when she's not on stage. The story line on the new Disney Channel show gets complicated because the actress Miley Cyrus plays both Miley Stewart and her secret identity Hannah Montana.

Down to Earth Rock Star
TFK recently previewed the hit show and interviewed Cyrus at a Disney media event in New York City. "It's about a rock star who just wants to be with her friends and family and be a normal girl and she tries to go in disguise and not show everyone she's a rock star because she's supposed to be normal," said Cyrus. "So she goes in disguise and puts on wigs and tons of makeup. At the end she has her friends, but she also has her secret life of being a rock star."
The show has Cyrus changing from Miley to Hannah and back again. "It gets difficult sometimes because I'll be in the same place but being two people so I'll have to run back and forth and take the wig off and be two different people at the same time. They both have different attitudes so you've got to change quickly," said Cyrus.
Meet the Cast
Emily Osment, who has been in Spy Kids II and Spy Kids III, plays Lilly Truscott. "It's very cool. We're really good friends now, so it's just like chilling with my sister everyday. She's like my best friend so it's really fun," Cyrus said about working with Osment.
Mitchell Musso plays Oliver Oken and also was in the Disney Channel original movie Life is Ruff. Oliver and Lily are Miley/Hannah's best friends and are the only ones, besides her family, who know the big secret. Jason Earles plays Miley's brother Jackson Stewart. Her real-life dad, Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, famous for his hit single Achy Breaky Heart, plays Miley's dad, Robby Stewart.
Miley falls into trouble when her secret crush, Johnny Collins, is one of Hannah Montana's biggest fans. Johnny is played by Corbin Bleu who also had the role of Chad in Disney's High School Musical.
