Friends? Yes. Sisters? Yup. Triplets? No, but they look so much alike that they decided to call their band 'Triple Image.' Two 13 year-old twins, Bridgett and Brittney, hooked up with their 12 year-old sister Brianna to form this hip-hop girl band, releasing its debut CD in August 2002.
The group, which has opened for Aaron Carter, released the single Last One Standing. Their album also features two cover songs from the past, Cindi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (recorded with vocal help from Jamie Lynn Spears) and New Edition's Cool It Now.TFK Kid Reporter Mia Kabasakalis spoke with the girls about singing 'in the family.'

Brianna: The best part is traveling all over the world and being with my sisters. The worst part is being away from our family. And my doggies!
TFK: Do you get nervous before a show?
Brianna: We don't get nervous at all. We just get really hyped.
TFK: Awww. Are you friends with Aaron Carter?
All three: Yes.
TFK: Did you like touring with Aaron Carter or 'N Sync tour better?
Brittney: The Aaron Carter tour because Aaron was so much fun.
TFK: How long have you been a group?
Brianna: We've been a group for about three years.
TFK: You have two older sisters, right?
All three: Yeah.
TFK: What are their names? Do they start with B too?
All three: No.
Brittney: They're Stephanie and Jenny.
TFK: Who came up with the name Triple Image?
Brianna: My sister Stephanie. We were thinking of names and my sister was like, 'Triple Image!' We were like, 'Yeah, that's really cool!'

TFK: Who are your music role models?
Brittney: I like Alicia Keys.
Bridgett: Janet Jackson.
Brianna: Michael Jackson.
TFK: What's your favorite song on your CD?
Bridgett: My favorite song is 'What I Like,' because it’s really upbeat.
TFK: What's it like to be home-schooled?
Brittney: I think it's the same as going to regular school. It's just you're not there with all the kids in the classroom. It's just you with the teacher, my mom!
TFK: I'm home-schooled, so I can relate to that. You still have a lot of friends, right?
All three: Yes. Definitely. A lot.
TFK: How often do you fight?
Brittney: Well, we don't really fight, fight. We just do sister things.
TFK: Are you allowed to date?
Brittney: No!
Brianna: I say not till we're 43! (Laughs)
TFK: What are your hobbies?
Brittney: I just like to sing. I sing all the time!
Brianna: Aaaaalllll the time.
TFK: What advice would you give for up and coming singers?
Brianna: Just follow your dreams and don't ever give up.
TFK: If being a singing group doesn't work out, what do you want to do?
Brianna: I would probably be a veterinarian, because I love animals.
TFK: In one of your interviews, you were asked where you wanted to be in your career at the end of 2002. Do you feel like you've accomplished everything that you wanted to do?
Brittney: I think we've accomplished a lot. We performed a lot, and recording our CD was a big accomplishment.
TFK: What do you want to accomplish by the end of 2003?
Brittney: Another CD, sell lots and lots of records, and just keep performing.
TFK: How long do you want to continue singing?
Brianna: The rest of our lives!
