Building Brave and Bold Kids

Dear Teacher,
![]() |
DC Super Heroes are more than just cartoon or comic book characters to many children. They represent valuable traits—such as strength, determination, and courage—that kids strive to imitate.
To help students recognize and grow those special qualities in themselves, TFK has teamed up with the hero experts of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Together we have developed a lesson plan that can fit into any curriculum.
This engaging, character-building program will help develop:
• Identification of Community Issues
• Setting and Achieving Goals
• Creativity
• Language Skills
• Working as a Team
• And more!
To bring the power of the DC Super Heroes like Batman and Aquaman to your classroom, click on the downloadable guides below—one is for educators and the other for students.
We encourage you to print out and take advantage of these resources. You'll be surprised at how a hero or two can really enhance classroom excitement!
Sincerely,
The Editors of TIME For Kids
