Don't worry, Jonas Brothers fans! Nick says the brothers aren't breaking up. "I was coming up with songs that didn't fit the Jonas Brothers' sound," Nick told TFK. "But I still wanted to record the songs and put them on an album.

A JoBro Grows Up

The new CD introduces fans to a more grown-up Nick. While the Jonas Brothers' music is youthful and upbeat, the songs on Nick's solo album are more mature, with hints of blues and soul. His new songs, Nick says, express who he is as a songwriter and as an artist.

"This record is filled with songs that are real to me," he told TFK. "I want to show my fans how I feel."

Nick's favorite song on Who I Am changes daily. If he had to pick one, he says, it would be "Last Time Around" because "it's a fun song to play live and the fans really connect to it."

Nick Jonas excites the crowd during his Who I Am tour.

In the future, Nick hopes to attend college in Chicago. He also hopes to become President. That's where the idea for his band's name, the Administration, came from.

"At first my running for President was a joke," Nick told TFK. "But the idea stuck and it's gotten more serious."

For now, Nick is enjoying the present. The Administration recently finished their successful Who I Am tour and the CD is getting rave reviews. It was hard, Nick says, not having his brothers with him on stage. But he knows that they are always cheering for him.
