Kids Voice their Choices
Celebrities in movies, music, television and sports are honored by kids at the annual Kids' Choice Awards

Green slime oozed on Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and other celebrities at the 17th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday. Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz, who are the voices of the ogre and princess in Shrek and the upcoming Shrek 2, hosted the show in Los Angeles, California.

Kids Speak Out
The annual awards show asks kids to vote by telephone or online for their favorite celebrities in movies, music, television and sports plus their favorite products. Seventeen million kids voted for everyone from their favorite band (Outkast) to the best celebrity belcher (Hugh Jackman). "Finally, something my family can be proud of," said the burping actor. Justin Timberlake took home top belching honors last year and his girlfriend, Diaz, won in 2001.
Slimed on Stage!
Adam Sandler won the Wannabe Award, which is given to the celebrity kids most want to be like. The Olsen twins were given one of the show's biggest honors while they were presenting an award- a healthy helping of green slime! Myers also managed to leave the show drenched in green goo.
One of the biggest winners of the night was the hip hop group, Outkast. The group won both favorite band and favorite song for "Hey Ya." Ellen DeGeneres was also a big winner. She took home an orange blimp for favorite animated voice, Dory in Finding Nemo, and also accepted for Nemo's top movie victory. Her advice to kids watching the show: "Enjoy being a kid. It's the best time of your life. Don't grow up too fast."
