Amanda Lanzillo

For as long as she can remember, 11-year-old Amanda Lanzillo of Erie, Pennsylvania, has aspired to a career in writing. Amanda’s interest in writing was sparked by her love of reading, which she developed at a young age. Amanda especially enjoys writing poetry. She has won awards for her poem “The Clearing in the Woods” which was recently published.

She also enjoys acting, singing, and dancing, having performed in numerous productions at her local theatre. Amanda also participates in a number of sports, but her favorite is swimming. Amanda’s other hobbies include collecting coins and antique books.
