A Panda Stays Put

Giant panda cub Tai Shan (tie shon) was set to leave the U.S. for China this year. But the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., has arranged for the popular panda to stay until 2009. "Tai Shan will continue to bring happiness to the American people," said Chinese ambassador Zhou Wenzhong.
