Spotlight on Service

TFK's first Spotlight on Service volunteer is laura White, 17. Her organization, Wild and Water, teaches children in Atlanta, Georgia, how to swim. When Laura was 15, she volunteered with a group that took needy kids camping. On one trip to a lake, several campers who could not swim ran into the water. Laura helped five kids to safety. Soon after, she started Wild and Water to give kids free swimming lessons. Seeing the joy on their faces is "such a reward," says Laura.
