What's the Story? Based on the Marvel comic books first introduced in 1961, this action-packedsequel follows a team of superheroes known as the Fantastic Four as theyfight to stop the evil Galactus and his powerful messenger, the Silver Surfer (voiced by Laurence Fishburne), from destroying the Earth. Leading the foursome is Mr. Fantastic, a brilliant mathematician who has the ability to stretch his body in any imaginable way. The rest of the team consists of a NASA pilot with superhuman strength, a scientist with the ability to make herself disappear and a hotheaded risk-taker who has the power to fly and emit balls of fire. These four superheroes have fantastic abilities, but do they have what it takes to save the planet? Did You Know? Stan Lee, author of the original Fantastic Four comic book, appears in the movie as a rejected wedding guest. |
