Nancy Drew
PG (now playing)

What’s the Story?
Teen detective Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts) leaves her small hometown of River Heights to accompany her lawyer father on an extended business trip to Los Angeles, California. The two rent a mansion in the Hollywood Hills, which was once owned by the famous actress, Dhelia Draycott. Drew promises her Dad that she'll quit sleuthing and try to be normal while in Los Angeles. But the spunky sleuth just can't resist the appeal of a new mystery when she begins to uncover clues surrounding Draycott's mysterious death.

Did You Know?
Publisher and children's book author Edward Stratemeyer created the Nancy Drew character over 75 years ago. The mysteries were actually written by several different authors, each under the pen name Carolyn Keene. The plots contained plenty of exciting material--Nancy has been kidnapped and poisoned, she has toted guns and engaged in high-speed chases. Unfortunately for diehard Nancy Drew fans, the movie's plot is not based on any of the 56 books in the original Nancy Drew series.
