What's the Story? Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) is just an ordinary teenager until the day he buys his first car, when what he thought was a junky old Camaro turns out to be an alien robot named Bumble Bee. Suddenly, Sam is thrown into the center of a major battle between the forces of good – the Autobots – and the forces of evil – the Decepticons. Both sides are after the same thing – a mystical object that would grant its possessor unlimited power – and only Sam holds the key to finding it. With the help of his friend Mikaela (Megan Fox) and the powerful Autobots, Sam just might have a chance to save the Earth. But will he manage to stop the U.S. government from destroying his Autobot friends? Did You Know? Transformers started out as toys that were introduced in the U.S. in 1984 and soon after, appeared in cartoons and comic books as well. The animated Transformers:The Movie was released two years later but did not do well at the box office. |
