Enchanted
PG (now playing)

What's the Story?
A fairytale collides with the real world in this film that blends animation and live action. In the cartoon land of Andalasia, Princess Giselle (Amy Adams) just wants to live happily ever after with her Prince Charming. So, when Prince Edward (James Marsden) asks for her hand in marriage, Giselle thinks that her dreams have finally come true. But Edward's evil stepmother, Queen Narissa, has another plan for the happy couple. Fearful that Giselle will steal her throne, the wicked queen casts a spell that hurls the wide-eyed animated princess into the live-action world of New York City. Once in the Big Apple, Giselle, now a real person, meets a handsome lawyer (Patrick Dempsey). He helps her to navigate this strange new place. Will the plucky princess find her fairytale ending in the real world?

Did You Know?
In an earlier version of the script, Giselle's entrance into the real world was set in New York City's Central Park. But the filmmakers thought the park's natural beauty didn't contrast Giselle's animated world enough. In the final cut, they had the princess emerge from one of the city's grimiest places: a sewer in the middle of Times Square.
