Later that night, Ashley tiptoes into Mitch's backyard. She spots the light on in his second-floor bedroom and slowly climbs a tree next to his house for a better view. Ash carefully settles down on a limb and whips out her binoculars. There's Mitch, and there's a cage with a fuzzy animal inside! Is it Lucky? Ash inches forward. Suddenly twigs begin to snap and the neighbor's dog barks.
Startled, Mitch turns his head and stares straight at Ashley!
"AAAGH!" she cries, losing her balance.
