What's the basic story line?

Danny Lipman needs to find a way to get some money. While robbing a house, he discovers a secret agency hidden under the house called The Shadow Project. Agents at the Project discover that Danny has a special talent, and ask him to join the agency. Danny is asked to use out-of-body spying to assist the Project in stopping a terrorist group, the Swords of Wrath. The group is led by The Skull, whose assistant unleashes evil spirits that test the spy skills of Danny, Opal and Michael. Will they succeed in destroying the spirits before people are killed?

Were the characters believable?

The characters are believable. They maintained their own personalities throughout the book. Opal seemed shy and emotional. Michael was quiet, yet courageous. And even though Danny was a thief, he was also caring and brave.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best), how would you rate this book?

I would rate this book an 8. It had a good story but it was difficult to keep all of the characters straight, at least in the beginning. The book became more action packed toward the middle and the end. The action scenes were my favorites.
