Are yearly exams the best way to improve education? A new law triggers a debate

I talked to so many people -- kids, parents, teachers, school administrators, testing experts and government officials -- when I was working on TFK's story on testing. It was challenging to include all the different opinions and explain why people feel as they do.
TFK kid reporters helped me with the story by interviewing other kids for their thoughts about tests. I thought their interviews were very honest and real. Some of the responses that they got were funny, too.
