L8R, BULLIES
The Center for Safe and Responsible Internet Use offers these antibullying tips. Never provide information or images that could be used against you. Always keep your passwords and user names private.
Examine your actions.
Make sure you are not communicating in a way that is hurtful to others.
Find the exit.
Don't spend time in online places where you are treated badly. Block unwanted messages.
Don't seek revenge.
Losing your cool with a cyberbully will give him or her something to boast about. It also may get you in trouble. Calmly tell the bully to stop.
Save evidence.
Print copies of any harmful material you receive.
Get help.
If the cyberbullying continues, tell an adult who can take appropriate action, including contacting other parents and school officials, and filing a complaint with authorities.
