The Winner, by a Whisker
Hundreds of men sporting bizarre-looking facial hair gathered in Brighton, England, for the World Beard and Moustache Championships on September 1. The shaggy contest showcases the wackiest whiskers in the world, in 17 categories. Willi Chevalier, 65 (left), of Germany, took the top prize for best partial beard, freestyle. American Jack Passion won for best full beard.
