The NFL season kicked off on September 6, with the New Orleans Saints taking on the Indianapolis Colts in Indiana. Football is the country's favorite spectator sport. According to a recent ESPN poll of 27,398 sports fans ages 12 and up, more Americans watch professional football than any other spectator sport. These sports drew the most votes.
