Dear TFK...
Wow, 2003 was a crazy year ["Big Events of 2003," 12/19]! So much
happened. The craziest was when U.S. soldiers found Saddam
Hussein, once such a powerful leader, hiding in a little hole.
--Hakeim P., 12 New York
I think that TFK should have included more important events of
the year in the year-end issue. When you throw stuff in like the
Harry Potter books and American Idol, it makes the rest of the
stories sound less important.
--Megan W., 11 Florida
It's horrible that in some countries children can't go to school
["Not Enough Kids in School," 12/19]. In the United States, kids
take advantage of the fact that public schools are free. I am
proud of UNICEF for making an effort to help children get an
education.
--Jennifer P., 10 Maryland
This story was super ["A Tiny but Important Fossil," 12/19]! I
think it is really important to know what the world was like
millions of years ago. Maybe this discovery will help us
understand more about our world today.
--Sanjana R., 10 Oregon
