You can't see air. But when the wind blows, you can feel it. Whoosh! Wind helps a kite fly and a sailboat move. It carries seeds to start new plants. It turns windmills to make energy. Wind is a part of every kind of
weather. You feel wind on sunny, rainy, snowy and stormy days.

On rainy days, it's good to use an umbrella. But an
umbrella doesn't always help when the wind blows!

A hurricane is a storm with winds moving at more than 74 miles per hour. Hurricanes start over warm oceans.
