After the Earthquake
It has been more than a month since a powerful earthquake hit India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Sadly, thousands of people are still suffering. The quake killed nearly 90,000 people, most of them in Pakistan.
Some damaged areas are hard to reach. That is why many survivors cannot get the medical attention or the food and water that they need. Many people are getting sick from dirty living conditions and hunger.
Millions of people who lost their homes now live in tents. Some do not have any shelter at all. Winter weather is moving into the area. World aid groups are rushing to help.
