From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate the achievements of Hispanic Americans. Match each person with his or her claim to fame. Write the correct letters in the circles. Look for clues in the photos!
1. In 1993, she became the first Hispanic-American woman to travel into space.
2. For his service in the Civil War, this Hispanic American was made the U.S. Navy's first admiral, in 1866.
3. In 1973, he became the first Hispanic American to be named to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
4. He was the first Hispanic American to win the Pulitzer Prize for fiction. He won the top award in 1990.
5. In 1989, she became the first Hispanic woman and first Cuban American to be elected to the U.S. Congress.
