I was born in Pisa, Italy, in 1564. I was a great thinker and became a mathematician and astronomer. In 1609, I made a powerful telescope that allowed people to see detailed views of Earth's moon and the planets, including Mars. I discovered four of Jupiter's moons and found that the Milky Way is a collection of stars.
