Girls for a Change
In 2007, Sejal Hathi learned of the millions of girls around the globe who don't have the same rights as boys. That's when Hathi, now 18, started Girls Helping Girls (GHG).
The organization brings girls together. It gives them the tools they need to make changes in their communities. GHG helps keep girls in school and teaches them skills.
Today, GHG has helped more than 5,000 girls in 15 countries. "Every human being has the power to change his or her world," Hathi told TFK.
