It's World Series time!
With four wins in a row, the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees last week to reach the World Series. David Ortiz of the Red Sox was named the most valuable player (MVP). He hit three home runs to help his team win. The Red Sox are playing the Saint Louis Cardinals. MVP Albert Pujols helped the Cardinals beat the Houston Astros with important hits. The Red Sox hope to win the Series for the first time in 86 years. The Cardinals hope to win their first Series since 1982.
