Funny Bunny Tales

Who has long floppy ears, a cotton tail, fangs and a big birthday this year? Bunnicula! The first book about the popular rabbit, written by James Howe and his wife, Deborah, was published 25 years ago. "I started to think of the least likely vampire that I could imagine and came up with this little fluffy bunny," Howe told TFK.

Since Deborah died, Howe has written more than 60 books. His new book about the bunny, Hot Fudge, went on sale last month. So did an anniversary edition of Bunnicula. "The Bunnicula books turn kids on to reading," says Howe."That's an accomplishment."
