Senator Hillary Clinton won a big contest on April 22. She and Senator Barack Obama both want to win the Democratic Party nomination for President. Last week, Clinton won a primary election in Pennsylvania. She received 55% of the votes. Obama got 45%.
"Some people said to drop out," she told supporters. "But the American people deserve a President who doesn't quit."
Even though Obama lost this contest, he is still ahead in the race. There are nine contests left, including primaries in Indiana and North Carolina on May 6. Democrats will choose their candidate this summer.
On Tuesday night, Obama had moved on to Indiana. "Now it is up to you, Indiana," he told supporters in Evansville. So, the race goes on!
