And the Grammy Went To . . .

February 21 was a particularly beautiful day for members of the Irish rock band U2. Their hit single Beautiful Day earned them three trophies at the 43rd annual Grammy Awards, held in Los Angeles, California. U2 even won Record of the Year, beating out 'N Sync, Destiny's Child, Macy Gray and Madonna. "It's a very unique emotion I'm feeling," said lead singer Bono. "I think it's called humility."

Destiny's Child won two Grammys, for Best Rhythm and Blues Song and Best R. and B. Duo or Group with Vocal. The trio tied with producer Dr. Dre for the evening's most nominations: five.

Country singer Faith Hill, rapper Eminem and rock duo Steely Dan won three trophies each. Steely Dan snagged the Album of the Year award for its first album in nearly 20 years!
