Spotlight: Libera

Gather a group of 34 boys between the ages of 7 and 14, and what do they do? If they're members of Libera, they sing! The talented British boys just released a new album called Free. Their previous recording was a top-selling classical album in the United Kingdom.

Michael Horncastle, 11, is one of the group's stars. He became a member of Libera when he was 7. "I joined at just the right time," Michael told TFK. The group was just starting out. Libera rehearses about 12 hours a week. At this time of year, Michael and his fellow singers are busy with holiday performances. But it's not only classical music that Libera members like. Michael's new favorite? Punk rock.
