Spotlight: John Otrakji
John Otrakji (o-tra-zhee) isn't a big Hollywood name. So why will he be spending Oscar night in California with the stars? John, 13, works as a consulting publicist for Sony Pictures Classics. Folks at Sony were so impressed with his personal website that they hired him to create a teen site for their martial-arts film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. More than 125,000 have visited www.cablejump.com
"I didn't expect this," says John, who is designing at least six other websites. John is basically a self-taught Web master but not a martial-arts master. He took lessons when he was 3, but "I was hyper, so I wasn't learning that much."
