The New Top Dog
Making no bones about it, Carlee pointed her way to the winner's platform. The five-year-old German shorthaired pointer took the top prize at the Westminster Dog Show in New York City in February. Carlee competed with 2,581 other dogs for the Best in Show title.
Carlee pointed with perfection while standing completely alone. "She was spectacular," said her handler, Michelle Ostermiller, who was a winner herself. This was her second Best in Show win in two years.
