According to a recent national survey, more than 35 million Americans say that basketball is their favorite sport. Kids not only like watching hoops but also love to get in the game. More kids play basketball than any other sport. Here are the top teams sports for kids ages 6 through 17.
1. Basketball: 4,127,000 players
2. Baseball: 2,531,000
3. Outdoor soccer: 2,435,000
4. Touch football: 1,998,000
5. Court volleyball: 1,894,000
