Spotlight: Hope 7
They've only been together a year, but Hope 7 is already tasting success. The band's first single, "Breakthrough," was featured on the soundtracks of The Cheetah Girls and Legally Blonde 2, and their video appears on the Disney Channel. This week, the group released their first album, Hope 7. "There's a pop element, but it's more edgy than that," lead singer Kristi McClave, 22, told TFK. "It's more rock."
McClave's bandmates include Chevy Martinez, Dave Noble and Chase Duddy. The group's message is about--you guessed it--hope. "We want to be able to inspire kids," McClave says. "We want them to feel like somebody gets them."
