King Tut: Case Closed
King Tutankhamen ruled Egypt from the time he was 8 years old. The cause of his death at age 19 has been a mystery for more than 3,300 years. One important fact is now known: He was not violently murdered. Results from recent tests on Tut's body show no evidence of an attack. Some experts say that an infection from a badly broken leg may have killed the boy king. "I believe these results will close the case," says archaeologist Zahi Hawass, "and the king will not need to be examined again."
