Newborn Panda Needs a Name
The National Zoo, in Washington, D.C., wants your vote. The zoo is asking the public to help name its newest addition, a male panda cub born in July. Five names have been posted online. "We've logged more than 66,000 votes so far," Matt Olear of Friends of the National Zoo told TFK. The winning name will be announced in mid-October. Go to www.fonz.org/cubname.htm to cast your vote by September 30.
