A True Believer

Actress Dakota Fanning, 11, enjoys her free time by playing the piano, knitting and hanging out with Goldie. Who? Her horse, of course! The horse was given to her by actor Kurt Russell, her co-star in the new movie Dreamer. Dakota had never ridden a horse before she took the role of Cale Crane. The movie is inspired by a true story. Cale, a horse trainer's daughter, believes that an injured horse can make a comeback. Dakota says she had a great time filming on a farm in Nebraska. "It was a blast," she told TFK. "I got to learn all about horses, ride them and spoil them rotten."
