Top 5 Ways Kids Handle Stress
What stresses you out? In a recent poll of 875 kids, homework and grades topped the list. Asked how they calm down when they feel pressured, most kids chose more than one activity. They sure don't take stress lying down! Here are the most common ways that kids cope.*
1. Play or do something active: 455 kids
2. Listen to music: 385
3. Watch TV or play a video game: 368
4. Talk to a friend: 263
5. Try not to think about it: 254
