Spotlight: Emma Watson
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the teenage wizards Harry, Hermione and Ron face something scarier than Lord Voldemort: finding dates for their first school dance. For the British actress Emma Watson, 15, preparing for the Yule Ball was especially fun. "Suddenly, there was this whole new element. I had to get the dress and the hair right," she told TIME.
Emma plays level-headed, no-nonsense Hermione Granger. Mostly, it has been easy for Emma to identify with her character. "I'm quite serious; I'm a hard worker, like her," she said. In the fourth movie of the series, the Hogwarts pals deal with darker, more advanced magic as Harry competes in the Triwizard Tournament. Will Harry overcome the dreaded Imperius Curse?
