Small Actor, Big Role
Justin Martin, 11, can't wait to be king. The Georgia native just landed the lead role of Young Simba in the Broadway musical The Lion King. Justin got his first acting part at age 7, in his church's drama group. He has since been in several television shows and commercials. Young Simba was a role Justin had to grow into. "I auditioned many times, but I was always too short. This year, I was just the right size," he told TFK. Justin begins around-the-clock rehearsals in New York City this month.
