A Prizewinning Pair
Canadian Michael Brunner, 18, claimed a top prize at the annual American Kennel Club/Eukanuba National Championship, held in Florida earlier this month. In a contest among 175 dog handlers ages 9 to 18, Michael and his longhaired dachshund, M'Aimez (may-may) won the title and a $2,000 scholarship. M'Aimez, which means "love me" in French, seemed happy with her performance. "I think she knew that she did something good," Michael told TFK Kid Reporter Madison Chapman.
