Top 5 Places To Get a Dog
Next week, the Westminster Dog Show will name the nation's top dog. But many people think the dog next door is the best. In a survey of 500 people, most said they got their pooch from a friend or family member. Here are the top places to get a dog.
1. A friend or family member whose dog had puppies - 169 people
2. A breeder - 155 people
3. A shelter or pound - 88 people
4. A pet store - 31 people
5. A group that rescues a specific breed - 28 people
