In the Disney Channel's High School Musical, basket-ball star Troy Bolton risks his popularity by going public with his passion for singing. But Zac Efron, who plays Troy, feels no shame about his love of singing. "I grew up [watching] musicals," Zac, 18, told TFK Kid Reporter Emily Doveala. He says he wanted to "bring musicals back into the spotlight." Zac has done just that with his hit movie and its soundtrack. Now, he urges other kids to perform.
