A Historic Hoops Moment
For college-basketball fans, March is madness. University of Tennessee player Candace Parker added to the excitement last week when she became the first female player to dunk in an NCAA tournament game. Then the 6-foot-3-inch forward did it again. She is the first college woman to dunk twice in any game and only the fourth to reach such heights. "It's a relief to finally do it," Parker said. Her team, the Lady Volunteers, went on to win the game 102-54. They made it into the semifinal round for the 25th straight year.
