Top Dog on Easy Street
It used to be a hard-knock life for Whiskey, a 10-year-old homeless cocker spaniel. But now the sun has come out for him. The pooch just won the role of Sandy in the Broadway revival of the musical Annie. Eleven dogs auditioned for the part. Marisssa O'Donnell, 12, who plays Annie, fell for her canine co-star. "Whiskey gave me a kiss and had big, sad eyes that I could not resist," she told TFK.
