5 Questions for Lemony Snicket, Also Known as Daniel Handler
1 How does it feel to be done with the Baudelaire case?
A I feel like a fireman standing in the ashes of what was once a magnificent mansion. Whatever sense of accomplishment a fireman would feel would be dimmed by a regret that he hadn't arrived sooner.
2 What will you do with your time?
A A number of other cases have come up, so I imagine that I'll be almost as busy and possibly in even more danger.
3 Any advice for kids who are sad to say goodbye?
A They should consult medical professionals. The proper emotion to feel is relief that the dreadful story is over.
4 What happens in The End?
A Literary experts tell me this is the first time in history that seaweed has been used as a wig.
5 Can you suggest other books for Snicket fans to read?
A I was just reading the back of a pretzel bag that had a suspicious story about the origin of the pretzels. It's not a book, but kids might enjoy reading it anyway.
