Little Horse, Big Mission
This miniature horse may be tiny, but she's got a big heart. According to Guinness World Records, Thumbelina is the world's smallest horse. She is just over 17 inches tall and weighs 57 pounds. For the next seven months, Thumbelina will tour children's hospitals and schools and attend events in a quest to raise $1 million for children's charities. Her handler, Michael Goessling, told TFK that "meeting Thumbelina is the happiest moment of (many kids') lives. The effect she has is extraordinary."
