A Field Guide to a Scary World
Sometimes a book can open your eyes to new experiences. That's what happens to Mallory Grace, the character played by Sarah Bolger, 16, in The Spiderwick Chronicles. Mallory and her twin brothers, played by Freddie Highmore, find a field guide to a world of fairies and goblins. The trio must keep the book from an ogre, who wants its secrets. "He's big and very threatening," Sarah told TFK. Are you scared yet? The film arrives in theaters in February.
