A Glamour Girl
Actress Abigail Breslin, 11, was honored at a glamorous event in New York City last week. The young movie star was named Glamour magazine's first-ever Girl of the Year. The event honored women who are working to make a difference in their professions. Earlier this year, Abigail became one of the youngest actresses ever to be nominated for an Academy Award, for her role in Little Miss Sunshine. In 2008, she will star in three movies, including the comedy Definitely, Maybe, out in February. What's next for the Girl of the Year? "I haven't dreamed it yet," Abigail told Glamour.
